Blessed Samhain unto thee, dear reader!
I trust this blog post finds you well (and it will find you, seeking you out through darkened streets, following you through the shadows, perhaps sending a push notification to your phone when you least expect it). As the veil begins to thin, and the nights start to grow darker and colder, many a strange thing are afoot. Some of them are just children in costumes, but count the shadows, count the fingers, just to make sure they're not some kind of fae creature or an AI generated image come to life.
Among the other things which roam this time of year, I too emerge into this reality, often to talk about, scribble in, or read from books. To that end...
I'm excited to announce that this Sunday 3rd November (7pm GMT/11am PST), I'll be joining Patricia Tallman (actress, stuntwoman, all-around incredible person; known for her work in Night of the Living Dead, and my all-time favourite sci-fi series Babylon 5) as she's hosting me for a live online book reading of Sam Hain, and celebrating four years of her Magical Living community!
Join me for some spooky storytelling as I read from the first novella in the Sam Hain series, All Hallows' Eve, and evoke some of the Halloween spirit for this season of spookiness. I'll also be talking a bit about my life as an author, and holding a Q&A after the reading to discuss all things arcane and author-y. There'll also be a free 51-page ebook of All Hallows' Eve sent to all attendees following the event.

I had a wonderful time at my event at Southlands last weekend, and I can't wait to be holding another live book reading. I'm beyond thrilled and grateful for Patricia Tallman to be hosting this event.
